freshmen orientation

*Phew* Relieve and beat are what i feel now. This week have been totally energy consuming for me!
First, it is our school's Freshmen Orientation which i have taken part in and i played the role of a Class Facilitator together with waishin. Felt kind of honoured that i can facilitate my former class which is DMC/04. There are 17 in the class and if you think that the class is small and managable, well you have to think again! The trouble makers are the guys (as usual) especially Dave. He shows disinterest when the whole class were playing ice-breaking game, never respond when we asked questions, busied himself with his handphone and kept on finding excuses to sneak away. In conclusion, an attitude guy! Thank goodness the others are quite cooperative, only the guys are a bit juvenile.
On day 1, we played games in school together with our class! In the morning, we played ice-breaking games which let them get to know one another. It was i must say a failure, not totally however because at least we met the objective which is to let them get to know one another. It was a failure because they did not have much fun, we failed to make them enjoy themselves! However, i think they had fun during the outdoor games which happened after their lunch. We did a lot of cheering which kind of bring everyone together and make everything more lively and competitive. I am very proud of myself because i was the one who came up with the cheer!
On day 2, we watch performance by talentime winners, listened to speeches, basically a boring day! Things brightened up a little during the Mr and Ms SB competition! We could feasted our eyes with all the beautys and charms! Sad though that our class were not spontaneous enough to take part even though they have already chose their class representative the day before! The couple who won the cmpetition really deserved the title i must say because the girl is really pretty and the guy is really CUTE!!!
On day 3, the freshies have their flag day and we were there to give them our moral support and helped count the money by the end of the day. During the time when the freshies were slogging away under the sun, we were playing pool and watching DVD! Well can't blame us because it is their community service and during the time, we seriously have nothing better to do, so to wasted away the time, we play! Our class collected a pathetic sum of money $179.28 (if i remember correctly), that amount could be what one person can collect, i am not lying because during my year, zarifah (my friend) collected $100 over.
After freshmen orientation, i went for my sis's birthday chatlet. I am dead beat by the time because i have been waking up very early during the few days of orientation that i did not have much sleep and during the previous night, i stayed up until pretty late to make my sis's card...well i could only blamed myself for being so last minute. I did not socialised much with her friends because i was too tire to do so. I only talked to several of her friends or rather answered their questions and that's it. The whole time i was there, i did not approached anyone to talked to them, i guessed that they must think that i am aloof! I just ate, watched television, read my storybook and slept. The only time i felt useful is when i helped my sis to take photos. I turned in early, at about 12.30am (this is considered to be early at chatlet) but was woken up by my cousin who came at 2.05am. Can you imagine? My cousin is the same age as me and she can wild the whole night and returned home in the morning at 2.05am and she is a girl some more!!
Anyway school is starting on monday so i think i better get more sleep!

Wild and Wet

Went to Wild Wild Wet on friday with my sister. It is a treat from me as the other time my sister treated me to the play, Boeing Boeing. It was so much fun at Wild Wild Wet. I personally enjoy playing Ulala but too bad i do not have a photo to show what the game is like! However we did managed to take some photos while we were there!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Didn't have much appetite because i was too excited about going to Wild Wild Wet so i just ate a chao sao bao (reminds me of ying ying and the chao sao bao song hee...)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Love this card! It is the admission card for Wild Wild Wet. It is actually about the size of visa mini. It kinda work as a ez-link card where there is an amount of money stored in the card and you can use it to buy food from Pizza Hut, Mc Donald and also to buy a locker. Came up with a slogan for the card,

It's funkey! It's BLUE! It's MINE!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com That's me under a "waterfall". My pose was kind of awkward because there was a bunch of girls who walked past and were staring at me.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com This is one of the attractions for most of the kids. Can you see the group of kids? They are actually anticipating for something to happen!

Hopeless Andrew

Get a job! That's what i have been telling A(don't wanna mention his name), an ex-GV colleague, these few days. I hate to say this but he is really getting into my nerves these days!
A is one of those that had been retrenched from GV. He actually wanted to work at GV until 18, when he have to enter NS. He is currently not studying you see because i think he did not want to continue his studies in ITE so when he was sacked by GV, it seems to him that it is the end of the world. I don't know why but he enjoys telling me his problems...i guess maybe it is because both of us stay in the punggol area.
Initially when he messaged me or call me to tell me about his problems, i can understand and i tried to comfort him as best as i can...gradually he is getting into my nerves because he kept being so pessimistic, complaining he doesn't have money and worst, he message me almost everyday with the same opening message "U now at where?"...AHHH!!! STOP IT, WILL YOU? I AM NOT OBLIGE TO REPORT TO YOU ON MY WHEREABOUTS EVERYTIME! I can't tell him that, can i? Now, i have totally stop messaging him, hoping he gets the hint that he should stop bothering me! I know it sounds cruel but he has exceeded my patience limit. It is not like i did not do my part as a friend to comfort and help him. I have tried to help him look for jobs from some friends...it is just unfortunately that none of the companys needed helpers. If he really want money, then stop complaining and start looking! Well i feel that if he is really determined to look for a job, he will definitely be able to find a job, it's only matter of whether he have the will or not! Hmm...i think the last part could be used by me to wake him to his senses and doesn't sound too harsh...hmm should try!

My red hair

Dyed my hair 3 days ago. Now my hair is REDISH BROWN, it is actually more red than brown! It seems like there is no parting for my hair right? Well, it is because i don't want any balding spots so i constantly change my parting until now, there is no parting!

It seems like not many people or rather company can accept this colour! GV for one could not accept my hair colour because the manager say that it is too RED, so i am suspended or in a nicer term taking a break from work for 2 weeks! Sad isn't it? I can understand though because the colour is really striking when light is shining on my head as you can see from the picture! Well...i just hope that i would not be suspended forever because i just heard that 3 of my colleagues have been retrenched! One of them from what i heard (hee...can tell from here that we enjoy gossiping during work time) is retrenched because of the number of warning letters that he have got..which is a total of 4! The other is because of his hack care attitude towards work (oops...actually i also have this attitude towards work)!

Juke Box

                                          Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Won myself a juke box on Sunday during our GV Family Day! Oh, suddenly i noticed that there is a bra in the picture...Wahaha...well what to do we are not professionals! Now that i have mentioned it, it seems like it is the only attraction...ok enough, now shift your attention to the juke box please! I must say this is my first time to be so lucky as to win a prize from lucky draw..or in this case lucky seat, so my excitement should be understandable!
Watched the preview of a movie called Five Children and IT ! Doesn't ring a bell? Well it is a movie that will be screened much later...not sure when but i think have to wait for a few months before it will be screened...so we are are watching the movie way ahead of everyone! The movie is about the adventure of the five children and the IT, well it is a character for you people to find out!

stupid period

our timetables are out! thank goodness we are not taught by ms wee this semester *phew*! this call for a celebration! kind of dumb though that on wednesday we only have one pathetic lesson until 12pm.
hai~! i know it is a bad omen to sigh but whatever...it is the time of the month again! PERIOD!!! the pain gets more and more unbearable as i get older, why is it like that?
wasn't really friendly to yingting when i went out with her today because i just couldn't suppress my feelings. we were supposed to meet at bugis at 12pm today but she was late.
"hello, sorry sorry ni dao le huh? aiya wo mi lu le, xian zai zhai outram park!" yingting said apologetically.
me highly irritated, "huh?ni wei sha mo hui mi lu?aiyo i thought ni ying gai zai city hall xia le ran huo huan che?"
"huh?shi meh?yao huan che meh?sorry sorry wo bu zi dao!"yingting replied. -_-"
seriously, i think we should bring yingting out more often to see the big world and maybe buy her a directory so that she would not get lost(oops sorry yingting...well you must understand i am having my period!) haha, do you realised that women just enjoy to use their period as an excuse for saying cruel stuff?
just read some of my friend's blog..i personally enjoy reading yuanduan's blog because his post always makes me laugh...funny guy i must say!

ouch sunburn!!!

my stomach was really killing me yesterday, i don't know whether it is the pain caused by the time of the month or by eating too much at crystal jade restaurant??? my whole family and i went to the restaurant to celebrate our belated mother's day with my mother and like always we ordered too much for our own good. we ordered a $68 set meal which caters for 4 person, it includes 4 bowls of mixed seafood soup, 4 bowls of fried rice, one plate with a variety of meat, one plate of kat na (a kind of vegetables), a plate of fried fish (oohh...delicious, the best dish!) and 4 bowls of dessert. Besides the set meal, we ordered another 2 plate of dumplings and marinated chicken feet (eekk..i don't like this dish!). in the end i felt bloated eating all that and for the rest of the day, i was having a terrible stomachache!!! it sure kills my mood for shopping. i have never felt so painful shopping with my family members before but yesterday was an exception! so the moral of the story, don't eat too much because it kills your mood for shopping!
ouch i got sun burnt today!!! went to east coast (all thanks to my classmates for not being able to make it and in the end only 4 of us could make it and so they changed the location from sentosa to east coast!) and literally do nothing! my friends went to cycle and since i couldn't cycle, i went there to read my book! actually i wasn't really concentrating on my book because there was a lot of distraction. i am not talking about cute guys...well actually i did find some tan and cute guys but a girl learning to ride a bicycle was even more distracting because they enjoy screaming! a girl who is learning how to cycle her bicycle kept on screaming "den wo!"(wait for me) or "Ahhh" when she lost her balance...tell me how can i concentrate with her penetrating scream? have to congratulate waishin for finally being to ride a mountain bike despite constantly being tease by sheng yang for having carrot legs...oops shouldn't have revealed that!!! hey hey kind of proud of myself for being tanner than Josh, the first guy i am tanner than! heard from sheng yang that yuanli has tanned a lot...oops...it seems like i have to prepare to treat him lunch already!

arghh...bad day at work!!!!

it is really difficult to be in the service line!
customers are always making our job difficult! yesterday was my first day at box-office(the counter where you buy tickets)! i don't know why our managers enjoy torturing their staffs and indirectly torturing themselves as well! how dumb can they get by letting a newbie work alone on a saturday, a day where it will definitely be crowded!!! stupid stupid stupid...arghh!!! so you can imagine how afraid i was...i mean i know the basic stuff like how to allocate them a seat, print the ticket...but the transaction must be in cash, if they were to give me gift vouchers, i would go blank! thank goodness lenny, one pretty experience in box-office staff was around. she was working at candy-bar(the counters which sell popcorn), so i had to constantly trouble her to help me. with her help, i slowly get the hang of things and my confidence started to increase! darn...just when my confidence is developing..demanding customers started to tarnish that. a s**ting man who looks kind of 'young'(actually he looks like 23) wanted to watch Kingdom of Heaven (NC16). to be on the safe side, i asked for his ic. you might be wondering why i am so strict about such stuff, it is actually because if i don't check the ic and my colleague at the usher point is to check and found out that he is underage, then i will be scolded by the customer and manager because the ticket is not refundable so the customer would blame me for selling the ticket and ask to see the manager. manager would then reprimand me for not checking the ic. so you see in the end i would be the one at fault! so to be on the safe side we need to check youngster, in case there are some people who look like 20 over but in real fact is only 15 or 16!!! anyway back to my story...the s**ting man did not bring his ic, so i say "sorry sir but i can't sell you the ticket unless you produce some kind of identification!" then he started to be hysterical about the whole look young issue. he kept on asking "i look like 16 meh?". so i reply "yes" which was a lie. in the end he walked away relunctantly which i thought was the end of the story but no, he went to see my manager about it and told her he felt insulted!!! crazy man...it should be a compliment s**ty man...since you enjoy looking old so much...ok lor s**ty man, you look like a 30 year old, yellow teeth, monkey shaped face grown-up man, satisfied now? some other customers were also not very nice with me when i did not sell them the ticket because they are underage or did not bring their ic. Please people if you are watching a rated movie, bring your ic or any other form of identification!!! is ic or any identification card that heavy to carry around?
what could be worst for the day was that i key wrongly all the credit card as cash! so my cash have an increase of $114 which by right is supposed to be credit card amount! i think the accountant would definitely cursed me for this!

stupid virus

stupid virus attacked our computer last week...arghh...don't the hackers have better things to do than to hack into our computer! please be warned not to get into this website 3w.iwebtunes.com, it is a virus website!!!
hmm...now over to a lighter tone -> went out with my secondary school friends on monday, 2 may! it was a girls day out for me! it has been such a long time since we last met up with one another! we went to pastamania to have our lunch and don't know why those secondary school memories when all of us girls would join our table during post-examinatoins period and just sit there with one another, gossiping and enjoying a joke or two came flooding through my mind...ahhh...those were the days! after spending almost 1 and 1/2 hours eating our lunch, we went to far east to do what a woman got to do...shopping! this time i managed to control myself and not spent money on clothes...only bought an organiser which is shared by everyone as a gift for shu meng, it is a brand or rather a character call nightmare before christmas..it is supposed to be the in-thing right now and oh ya, there is also one more character call ameli(don't know the correct spelling but who cares!)! seriously strange things does get a lot of attention!
yeah!!! my sis has returned back from Japan and guess what? she bought me a skirt..ok actually i asked her to buy it for me...well i quite like it but i don't know why but i feel so short wearing skirts..hmm well i really am short! the real gift that she bought me is a talisman that she prayed for us at one of the Japanese temple...i like it because the cloth is sky blue!
got back my results and i must say i am happy and satisfied with it!!! kind of expected some of my results to be what it is like my chemical hazards which i got a A (yeah) and my news writing, a C+ (*sob*)! kind of shock though that i got an A for econs and issues and viewpoint to get a B but the others are well mutual feeling i guess!
