more of redang!~

Ok now that I have got all my photos at Redang, I shall post more photos!

After 9 hours of coach ride, you can't expect pretty photo from me cos I was really tire! (bet my mouth stinks)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting While in the boat, we had nothing better to do so we took a photo of ourselves...tire but still all smiles for the camera!

This photo reminds me of the show 'Xia Ri Mo Mo Cha'.

This is one of the few excellent shots of the scenery in Redang that is taken by Likheng. Isn't it beautiful? This was the beautiful scene we got to see every morning while we were having our breakfast!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting The first thing that we noticed when we check in to our room is that notice. I was wondering whether we will get to see monkeys when...

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting One monkey really came to visit! (I didn't get to see it though cos I was out with my sis...darn!) I must say the monkey was really polite cos it knocked on our balcony door (actually to catch attention) but Agu and Likheng being the unfriendly host, did not open the balcony door!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Then don't know why, suddenly another monkey decided to join in the fun. In this kind of situation, the only thing Agu and Likheng could do was to..TAKE PHOTO! (Argh...where am I at this point?)

We have got 4 single beds in our room. The room and toliet were clean, the bed and room were spacious enough for me...seriously what more can I ask for? One thing though, Malaysia channels really s**k cos the language used in all the channels (except one) is in malay and not only that, all the shows are so outdated! Can't they be a little more tourist-friendly? I know we are not there to enjoy TV but still, at least have a few more interesting programmes that uses English language so that we have some entertainment at night!

After one of our snorkeling sessions, we sat down at the head of the boat, to feel the wind whipping our face and see t
he sea beneath our feet! And we took a photo!

photo collage

All these photos were taken when we were on top of a cliff in redang! We climbed up the cliff supposedly to look at a sky filled with stars BUT after 3 minutes of exhausting climb, we reached the top of the cliff to find less than 20 stars!!! Argh...

Since there was nothing to do anyway so I suggested taking photos! (Might as well, since we have camera with us) You can tell I was hogging the camera cos my face is the most clear in all the photos..hee..bore what

What will my future turn out to be?

Been having a lot of people coming up to ask me 'What are your plans after you graduate?'. To a point where I am irritated cos seriously, I have yet to have a plan. I would always reply 'I think I will work for a while before I apply for university', like as if I had everything all planned out but the truth is, I am just trying to dismiss those people and place the question at the back of my mind...

3 weeks ago, I had a discussion with my family members about our (my sis and I) plans for the future (it was just a out of the blue thing). My sis had everything all planned out. She is going to take a Degree in English after she finish serving her bond and then she will go on to work for a Japanese company where they will definitely need a fluent in English and Japanese language employee. I am like 'Great! My sis has everything planned out while I, who will be graduating in a few months time haven't yet plan on where to go.' I did mention that I am thinking of getting a diploma in tourism management which led my sis to suggest that I become an air stewardess. I thought it was a good idea since I enjoy traveling, BUT my height posted a problem cos I am 1cm away from the standard height and the thing is, I want to be seen carrying a laptop, not a make-up kit! My parents asked me why I don't want to get a degree for my relevant course and I told them that I am just not cut out for the course. It took me 2 years to realise that I don't belong in my course...stupid right? Still, I did learn all the basic marketing, econs...business skills and laws so i don't regret at all.

Right now, I am browsing through some university courses.....

World Trade Center

*Sob Sob Sob*
That's what I have been doing throughout half the World Trade Center movie. It's like the Pearl Harbour movie without all the mushy love scenes.

The story evolve around John McLoughlin (Nicolas Cage) and Will Jimeno a.k.a Willy (Michael Pena) who both, thankfully survived the ordeal. The most memorable person in the show I must say is Willy's friend (whom I forgot the name...how ironic!)! He was the most memorable cos I cried a lot for him...he amazed me with his loyalty to his friend, Willy. It is so amazing sometimes to witness strong friendship among people.

Anyway, I will gladly recomend everyone to watch the movie. My advice is, if you are the emotional type of person, then BRING MORE TISSUE PAPERS!

Movies

Movies, movies and more movies are coming out!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting One cheap flick that I know is definitely not worth the money but still I wanna watch cos in John Tucker Must Die, Heartthrob Jesse Metcalfe (the gardener in Desperate Housewife) is the main actor! How can I resist?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting I am going to watch World Trade Center on Sunday! Nicolas Cage will be starring in it so I expect it will be a great movie.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting I am so going to watch this movie too cos my favourite actor Josh Hartnett is in it! Read the synopsis just now:

A tale of obsession, love, corruption, greed and depravity that revolves around a true story of the brutal murder of a fledgling Hollywood starlet that shocked and fascinated the nation in 1947 and remains unsolved today. Two ex-pugilist cops, Lee Blanchard and Bucky Bleichert, are called to investigate the homicide of ambitious silver-screen B-lister Betty Ann Short--A.K.A. "The Black Dahlia"--an attack so grisly that images of the killing were kept from the public. While Blanchard's growing preoccupation with the sensational murder threatens his marriage to Kay, his partner, Bleichert, finds himself attracted to the enigmatic Madeleine Linscott, the daughter of one of the city's most prominent families--who just happens to have an unsavory connection to the murder victim.

Scandalous and mysterious, I LIKE!

Redang Trip

I'm BACK from Redang! Did anyone miss me? Actually I was back on thursday but was too lazy to blog...hee

A lot of fabulous photos to share! Ok let's see...how should I start...Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

After 9 hours of coach ride from Singapore to Malaysia, we arrived at the jetty where I took my first boat ride! Although I have back, neck and leg ache from the long coach ride, anticipation of the boat ride manage to keep my spirit high. However, not long after the boat engine starts, exhaustion won over my body and the beautiful sea and island turned to blackness. I was too tire to enjoy the nice scenery and surprisingly, boats are really comfortable to sleep in when they are NOT stationary on the sea.

After 1 hour of the boat ride, we arrive at Laguna Jetty (I think that's the name) and we took a tram to Laguna Resort. When we arrive at the lobby, this is the BEAUTIFUL scene that invites us!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Look at how clear the sea is! It is so inviting that I have an impulse to jump into the sea and swim like a mermaid (like as if I can swim like a mermaid!)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting This reminds me of a song

'I can see clearly now, what's lies underneath,

I can see all obstacles in my way.'

Me and Agu walking deeper and deeper into the ever inviting sea!

The family in the photo are one of the people we got to know in Redang. It seems like it is really easy to make friends in an island cos it is so small, everyday you get to see the same people, eventually you become friends. I think if we have stayed longer in Redang, we might get to know everyone in the island!

To be continued...

Good citizens

If there is anyone who says Singaporeans are not honest or Singapore is not a good and safe country to be in, they would have to take back their words.

Yesterday, I helped all my colleagues to buy dinner cos I was working late-mid shift. Since most of them wanted dinner and I couldn't grab another colleague to buy food together with me, I was forced to carry bags and bags of food...ALONE! At one point cos I had too many bags in my hand, I did not hold on tightly to the money in the coin bag and so pieces of red and green started to slip out from the coin bag (even the menu) without me noticing. Thankfully, there were honest and kind-hearted Singaporeans around who came running one after another to return the money to me. The amount that had been returned to me by all those kind souls add up to $9!!! Seriously, I must avoid buying food for all my colleagues so that something so embarrassing will not happen to me again!

Anyway, there is only 2 more days left before I set off to Redang Island! Can't wait! I will be gone from 4 Sept to 7 Sept, so don miss me!
