Yesterday was like a going for a history field trip. Went to change S$ to rupees at Mustafa yesterday because am going to India (YEAH!!!). Side track a little, i must say i feel RICH having all the rupees with me...my wallet was bulging when i put the rupees inside. Couldn't stop counting the money...ok, yes i am psychotic and silly and anything.
Back to the history lesson thing, i went to Farrer Park together with 'mum' and Poh and when we reached there, Poh started to give us a mini history of Farrer Park. He told us that the Fortuna Hotel collapsed once while it was under construction and now it has been rebuilt. While walking, we also passed by the Singapore Turf Club building (no longer there) and Poh told me that before the building was used by the Singapore Turf Club, it was a NTUC supermarket where the business was excellant because there was a car-park nearby but then the gov. do away with the car-park to build the Farrer Park MRT station, causing a dropped in business, thus the NTUC closed down (ahh...so now you know!). Then my father, who came over after that to drive me home, brought me to see his old house which was in some street that i can't recall the name, but i know it is near Bendemeer Secondary School. He told me about the history of his life which was very interesting. When i say interesting, it is referring more to the moment that we shared rather than his life, caused my father and i seldom have a proper talk or conversation. When we talk, it is usually when i need to inform him about something or when he asked me a question and i answer. It is unlikely we will talk about his past and that is by the way, our longest father and daughter conversation.
Anyway, i am left with only one more paper to go and i can be free!!!

law paper
Yesterday's law paper really Super Ultra Crap KaseS (SUCKS). No offence Ms Peter, i really like your law lesson...it is fun and everything but that law paper was a killer! Not to worry though, i still like law.
Anyway, i have to kiss goodbye to my 22 marks because i did not do 3 questions! Yes, you read right...3 QUESTIONS!!! Now all i can do is pray for the best like what Zar said. I really pray that i can at least get a C.
A few things i have learnt through the test:
1) NEVER be cocky and think that you will have time to finish your paper even before you started writing any answers.
Initially i thought i was able to finish all the questions because during the 10mins of reading time, i was able to finish reading all the questions except the last and i also managed to answer all the 5 mcqs. When the lecturer said we may start the paper, i was pretty confident i was able to answer all the questions since my 5 mcqs are done and i have read through most of the qns. Now i know it is wrong to think that way for law because it requires a lot of thinking for each question. Well time waits for no man, in the end i still did not managed to finish everything!
2) NEVER ever leave any question blank and think that you will have time to go back and answer them after attempting all the other questions, at least not for law!
3) NEVER use correction pen (fluid type) for exam papers!
Come to think of it, i think i have missed out some words where i have 'liquid'(don't know a correct term to use) them and forgot to write the correct word on...AHHHH. Ok i shall not cry...I shall be S.t.r.o.n.g
Oh well the paper is over so i shall not think about it....now i will have to go back to my ConB!

nothing better to do
Nothing better to do right now so decided to update my blog! Currently i am doing my dma project...actually my group members are working while i am slacking! Oh ya went to the immigration buliding yeterday because i need to update the photo of my passport..the place looks really familiar to me although i have gone there like only once, when i was in primary 4! After waiting 5 minutes for the updating of our passport photo, Poh and me found an ice-cream auntie selling ice-cream using her mobile store. I love those ice-creams because it is cheap and it is an ice-cream with a lot of flavours! It's a sad thing that such traits are dying because not many people know how to make those ice-cream and not many people wanna take up such jobs!
I will be having my examinations in about 1 weeks time, it seems like time is running out for me to study (start pressing the panic button now). I will survive!

thinking about my future
Hooray! Several good news to announce...
1) finally i can rest well after many hectic weeks of rushing our project.
2) i am not suffering from constipation anymore (at least for this few days)
3) in a few weeks time, i will be going to India. In case you people want to know when i am going to India, it is on 2rd Oct and it is until 10th Oct. Pretty excited actually, the only thing now that is distracting me from thinking about the trip would be my examinations which is coming up in one week time.
This few days i have been thinking, what have i achieve in life? I have been thinking very hard but i just can't think of anything that i can be proud of. I feel so aimless... i know i should be optimistic but i seriously can't figure out what talent i have...i believe that everyone has a talent within them but where is mine? It seems like everyone in my class have achieve something in their lifes. Like zarifah, she have achieve quite a lot with her photography skills, ali is writing for newspapers, waishin knows how to play clarinet. It kind of worries me that my friends are achieving something in their lifes and they are all starting to discover their own talent but i am lagging behind!

Work have never been so fun
Hmm...since now there is a bit of time, i will blog!
Went to work on Saturday, a lot of new staffs have joined our GV family! Got to know a Indonesian-Chinese, Henry. Very handsome...hmm...mixed blood...hmmmm.....very friendly...double hmm...22 years old...uh hmmm..It is just a pity though, we have language barrier. He speaks English but he is not used to the way we speak in Singapore, so we have to be pretty slow when talking to him. He was really friendly to everyone. He commented that Singaporeans have no smiles (his exact words), always busy walking, which i must agree. In his town, everyone owns a house (too much land) and i think it is somehow like a village so everyone knows everyone and everyone is very friendly to everyone! This time, GV recruited a lot of guys (mostly handsome...hee) so girls who wanna feast your eyes can go and watch more movie.
Felt so love by my staffs because everyone was very concerned about my eyes!
I think pretty soon the senior staffs would be gone because their attachment would soon come to an end, work would not be much fun any more!

Tampines Library
Helped out in Tampines Library today. We spent about 2hrs in the library reading books and playing games with the kids there. The purpose of the activity is to make the kids speak good English! The kids are really cute because they are so tiny and some are very demure (i don't know why but i have something about demure kids!). Most of them were very cooperative with us and i think most of them have a great time because most of them participate actively in our game. Sky and Ali were the main stars i guess because they manage to keep the kids entertained.
I am real proud of myself because i managed to keep 4 kids quiet for a while at least, by making them draw. The 4 kids were supposed to wait inside the room for their parents to come and pick them up. They were really making such a din, running around and screaming on top of their lungs, it sounded like a room full of kids but in actual fact there were only 4! Kids can be real cute but when they start to make noise, they become a pest!

The much anticipated chatlet!
Our much anticipated class chatlet ended yesterday morning! The chatlet is much too short! That is what Ellse, Josh and i think! The next time if we ever organised chatlet, must be at least 2 days and it better not be at sentosa! It is not that i wanna complain, sentosa is fun to be at because the scenery is splendid and there are a lot of activities to keep us occupied but the chatlet have got really low standard!
Firstly, the chatlet room is really small to accommodate 7 people in the room. Secondly, the cupboards and air-con look very old and dirty, not only look but are in actual fact very old and dirty. Thirdly, the floor is really really dusty, it's like it had been not been cleaned by anyone for months. Forth, there is no sink provided to wash your uncooked fish or chicken and do you know what my friends did? They have no other choice but to wash the stingrays and chicken in our room toilet, causing it to stink like there is a corpse being stored inside! I almost fainted in the morning when i entered the toilet.
Although the chatlet was sucky, i still had a great time. It is all thanks to my classsmate because they were a fun bunch to be with and they are the ones who make the chatlet possible. I felt kind of useless because i did not help much. The marination of the food were done by Sheng Yang, Grace, Wanlin and Zarifah while we were out at Siloso Beach, suntaning ourselves. The weather was good for suntaning. Quite a few of my girlfriends wore bikini to suntan and went for a dip in the water. I am considered to be one of those who are conservative because i wore a spaghetti top and a shorts. Other than me, i think only Zarifah is the most conservative because of her malay culture. Even Wai Shin wore a bikini top! =O
We bought a ball to play because our dearest Victor did not have his volleyball with him. We spent about 1hr playing the hopeless ball. Hopeless because the ball is very light so we spent most of the time, running after the ball rather than hitting the ball. In the end, we decided on playing soccer instead, although the ball is pretty big as a soccer ball!
Then around 6pm, we started our barbecue. As usual, we brought a lot of food because we overbudgeted the amount and also because the lecturers we invited brought some food with them! Surprising to know that Mr Rajan and Ryan both know how to cook and Mr Rajan cooked one of his dish, salmon for us. Only through the barbecue did i know Mr Rajan hosted cook show. The next time, he shall be known as Chef Rajan! Mr Jimmy, on the other hand was busy with eating and socializing.
The barbecue was fun because everyone was having the party mood even the lecturers! Towards the end of the barbecue, everyone sort of went crazy because they started to drag everyone they see into the pool. Joanne, the birthday girl couldn't escape being thrown into the pool. Poh Wah also went in for a dip and his entry was the most "grand" because the moment he jumped into the pool, someone commented that it was a cannonball dropped, while Rajan said that it was Tsunami, which caused everyone to start laughing. Grace was also dragged into the pool! I faced the risk of being dragged but thank goodness i was having my period. Even Rajan's kids were not spared. Rajan's son was shouting "What were you thinking Dad?" when he was thrown into the pool by his father! It was so much fun!
During the night, everyone who stayed overnight was feeling sleepy but nobody wanted to sleep because it felt so strange to sleep during chatlet, so we stayed up till real late the next morning by playing cards and monopoly! We set our own rule for the monopoly game which is to say a truth if we end up in jail. Guess who was the first to end up in jail? ME! (How lucky can i get?) The question that i was asked, was by Ellse (you can trust her to come up with corny and weird ideas!) and it was "If you were to date a guy from this table, who would you date?". The choice was so limited, only 3 guys to choose from and that is Poh Poh, Sheng Yang and Josh. 3 guys who i get along real well with and have totally no interest in. So i decided to eliminate using name elimination. Personally i perfer guys with chinese name so Josh was the first to go. Between Poh and sy, well i had to make a choice so i decided on sy. Now come to think of it, sy have a christian name and that is brian, haiya so i shouldn't have choosen him. Then sy also ended in jail and his question was "Which girl on this table would you be physically attracted to?". The answer was obvious because Wan Lin had the best body and looks in our class and she was there. I felt that Ellse and Grace's body were also very good, at least i personally like their body (I am not a lesbian ok?). Then Wan Lin also ended in jail! I realised now that there is a pattern! Anyway Wan Lin's question was "Who was she talking to on the phone just now?" because before she joined us in the game, she was talking to someone on the phone for like 1hr or so. To my surprise, it was a guy from 03! WS guessed it right all along! Then it was Josh's turn to get into jail but his question was not very interesting as it was "Why did he kept laughing when we asked Wan Lin the question?". Obviously he must have known something or else why did he laugh but how did he know, well nobody knows! After monopoly, we played poker cards where everyone started to talk crap because everyone's mind was not working properly so super lame jokes popped up but it was fun and i feel the warmth getting together, the bunch of us saying lame jokes and laughing together.
We finally slept at about 4.30am because everyone couldn't take it any more! The bed could only take in about 5 people and with 5 people, it was like squeeze until cannot squeeze any more. I got leg cramps the next morning, my legs can't seem to straighten! I pity the guys though because they have to sleep on the floor which was dusty.
The next morning, we ate instant noddles and also breakfast meal in Mc Donald's. My friends are so crazy about monopoly, we played it in Mc Donald's. I think they are addicted to the game because Ellse suggest that we go sentosa another day and also play monopoly!-_-"
