Met a few weirdos while working yesterday. First up, is one of our regular customers. He enjoys watching movies everyday and he can watched the same movie for a few times (not that GV is complaining). The irritating thing is, he purchases ticket to a show but most of the time, he will be sleeping inside the theatres (worst part is he snores) or he will change to another theatre halfway through a show.
Second, would be a late thirties, plump guy who was watching a movie in theatre 4. It was in the early afternoon so there wasn't many patrons watching the show in theatre 4m only have about 3 patrons. I don't know why but he kept asking me to come in to theatre 4 more often cos there is very little people in the theatre. I was like 'Hello! You are a man and you are afraid when there are not many people in the room?'
Third would be this little girl who suddenly appeared beside me and asked me about a schedule paper that we have at the usher point. I answered her question and then there was a awkward pause so I asked her if she is going to the toliet. She asked me 'What's that?' and ran away. Not long later, she came back and ran down the stairs that lead to the theatres. Everyone of us at the usher point were like stunned for a while, then I quickly ran after her and gently guided her up the stairs while asking her 'where is your parents?' and she answered 'what's that?'. I suspect she either is a bit retarded or she is suffering from some mental problems.
Oh my..3 weirdos in a day...how nice!

Redang and monster house
Hey hey, guess what? I will be going to Redang Island after all! Right now, I'm so excited just listening to what are the activities waiting for me!
We will be taking a boat to Redang Island, YES! I can finally take BOAT RIDES! Not only that, we can try snorkeling which is what I interpreted from Agu as, looking at marine life from floating on the water surface!
Anyway, it is all hear and say for now cos I have not gone there YET, so will fill you people up with more details after I have already gone there! I forgot which resort Agu told me we will be staying in...I think it is Redang Kalong Resort or something...remember the word Kalong...hee...anyway did some checking out on Redang Resorts and...
This is Redang Kalong Resort! Looks decent enough. I like the fact that there are nice greeneries around and that there are going to be a lot of people living near us...it makes me feel secure =)
This is Laguna Redang Island Resort. I wanted to put this up simply becos I LOVE IT! It looks so nice with the pool, wait till you hear the facilities they offer and you would be like 'This is the one, man!' Really fabulous stuff! And what's more, you get to see the sea view every morning!
OK now back to reality!
Went to watch Monster House this morning and personally, I must say I miss animations like Shrek, Toys Story and Finding Nemo. It is because I have watched all these popular and amazing animations, I tend to compare the newer animations with those. I must say I am not an animation expert or anything but I feel that the animation lacks a little, just a little bit of skills. I feel that it is not really realistic enough cos the hair of the characters don't really move much (Ok maybe it's just me!) However, the movie does have an element of cutesy in it and the music really did set the scary or rather, exciting mood in the show...so overall it is an ok movie!

Amusing conversation
It is funny or rather, amazing to learn how a silly question such as 'Is your hair fake?' can spark off a conversation. Let me bring you through the amusing conversation:
Mum: Is your hair fake?
Aunt: (stun) No lah! It is real hair, ok?
Mum: I was observing you from a distance and I was wondering if your hair is fake.
This conversation really did take place this morning and amazingly, both women were able to go on to talk about their hairstyle preference, their luck in winning Toto (Don't ask me how they went to that point)...No matter how we, women, deny being auntie-ish (if there is such a word) and gossipers, we will still become one eventually so there is no point denying it!
Anyway can you imagine if you really ask someone 'Is your hair fake?' then the person proceed to pull down his/her wig? Ha, it will be so embarrassing, yet amusing.

Singapore Idol
Mathilda was booted out of SI yesterday! Wonder if Ms Low will be sad to hear this piece of news since she supports Mathilda. Still, I think Mathilda don't have to worry about her singing career since she can sing and dramatise songs, I think she can join theatres and take part in plays!

Heritage
Was working at CB yesterday and it was BORING! Time crawls by cos there wasn't many customers. Weekdays are so not happening, I prefer working during weekends! Anyway since yesterday was boring, there is seriously nothing much to blog about so I decided to post pictures after realising there is a lack of pictures in my blog!
Remember quite a few weeks back I posted a website that I say is very interesting as it shows you the celebrities you resemble? Well...I went in to play again cos nothing to do and below are some of the results:

I am kind of proud of this photo cos I look like a lot of pretty girls. In this photo, I resemble Miriam by 83% and also Zoe by 73%!

Achievements
I was trying to fill up my personal fact sheet the other day and came across a column about my achievements that got me stuck for quite some time. Not that I have not achieve anything in my life, but my achievements are not....well...not very impressive. The only achievement I am proud of would be getting 2 years of Edusave Merit Bursary...even that can't cheer me up now cos while I was reading through the official letter about applying for the award, this is what is written
'In addition, we have the Edusave Merit Bursary awards which are given as a special encouragement to students from more modest backgrounds'
It sounds like 'giving you the award out of sympathy' to me! Ok..I am full of negativity now...think positive, think positive!
So, I dug through my drawer yesterday night, in hope of searching for more achievements during my secondary school days! That is when I realised...that...my drawer is very DUSTY! -_-" ok..seriously I found nothing much in which I can be proud of except for my choir achievements. Looking at my records, I realised that I took part in an Australian Maths Competition twice....Sounds impressive huh? But in both occasion, I did not win anything so that's nothing to brag about.
Oh well...I did not shine during my secondary and poly days, that doesn't mean I wouldn't shine in future...right?
Anyway, went swimming with ying yesterday. It wasn't a good day to go swimming cos halfway through, it was raining heavily so we only managed to swim for about 1 hr. While waiting for the heavy rain to stop, ying suggested we read a booklet about Christ...erm..I must say it is really an interesting way to kill time! Then I went to watch 'Click' with agu for FREE! (Thanks dajie for the treat!) The movie make me fell in love with the Cranberries 'Linger' once again! Throughout the movie, I can't stop admiring the beauty of Kate Beckinsale, she is really one gorgeous girl. Oh ya...I love the answer for 'Will you love me in the morning?' and I am waiting for my Mr Right to tell me the answer!

Hey hey hey IT's OFFICIALLY MY HOLIDAYS! *Dance around the room* I am feeling happy and relax now.
Just had my presentation this afternoon, I must say I think I did ok only cos I stumble over some words at the start but oh well, it's over....Anyway I have more important things to worry about - my ATTACHMENT! I am still not sure which areas are suitable for me....ok let's evaluate the options that I have:
Event management- Everyone say it is a shitty..erm i mean tough job cos you don have a 9-5, mon-fri working days. Sometimes they will request you to work during weekends and stuff which seriously I don mind cos as long as I can have fun during my work, then why not?
Video Production- Another tough job cos you have to ensure that everything runs smoothly, like whether the artiste are on-time, wearing the right clothes for the production....and the working hours are not predictable, sometimes it will end till late at night like 3am. I kind of mind the fact that it requires us to stay up late at night cos I for one, cannot think straight if I do not have enough sleep for more than 2 nights.
Public Relations- Self explanatory....that means building relations with the publics. This means that I have to be able to write and speak well so as to convey the right message (I sound like a textbook) which I am not confident of cos I always stumble over my words and I confused myself while speaking sometimes.
Media Research- Sounds boring BUT it seems like it is a safe job.
Journalism- Write, write and write! Hmm I was tempted to choose that cos there are a lot of perks in the job! I LIKE!
